| How do I begin using the site? |
Anyone can browse the PFJ website. However, to sign up for job alerts or register an interest you need to 'register' with us on the tool-bar above. If you are already a member then welcome! To apply for a job online you must complete the full online registration form. This also doubles as a CV builder that you can update as your circumstances change. So the information you put in, you can also get out 24 hours a day anywhere in the world via our website. You also have the option of attaching your CV as a word document. |
| Can I upload or paste my current CV? |
Yes you can. Once you've registered at the site, please complete the first page of the CV builder and then upload you CV as a word document by clicking the 'browse' button. Our consultants will then have access to your CV whenever you apply for a job online. |
| How will I know you have received my CV? |
Once your completed registration has been received by our site, you will receive an e-mail response from us. |
| Which employers use PFJ online services? |
Currently employers can only access your details with your permission. However, before your details are passed onto our clients, you will need to be interviewed by one of our consultants. This could be by telephone or face-to-face in our London or Manchester Offices. For administrative positions you will need to sit a practical test which assesses your PC skills. Our clients include multi-nationals, UK 'Blue-Chips' and SME's who recruit experienced professionals into many market sectors. |
| How will I be notified about interviews? |
You will receive an e-mail or telephone call from one of our consultants, reflecting the preferred method of contact that you stipulated on your registration. Our consultant will advise you of the process i.e. whether we feel that we can assist you in your search for your next role and what the next stage would be in doing this. If your application for a particular vacancy isn't successful, you will receive an e-mail from the consultant who is working on that role. |
| How long is my CV live on the database? |
Your details will remain live on our database for a period of three months, unless you request by e-mail that we remove it earlier. After three months we will e-mail you to ask you if you wish your details to remain active on the site. You may request your details be deleted at any time, e-mail websupport@pfj.co.uk |
