Course Outline
What is Coaching? Looks at the different styles of coaching that are available and what style to adopt for each situation.
Coaching Skills: Identifies the skills that are necessary to be a successful coach, and looks at the use of questioning in coaching
Coaching Framework: Looks at the GROW model and how it can be used to structure and plan your coaching sessions
Course Aim
To provide managers with a framework to follow for improving performance within their team Course objectives By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:
· Define what coaching is and when it can be used
· Ask effective questions and give constructive feedback
· Use the GROW model to deliver an effective coaching session
Duration: 3.5 hours
Cost: £1,500 for up to 10 delegates (£150 per person).
Monitoring and evaluating – a measure will be taken of the teams overall billings prior to the training, and then again 3 months post-training to identify if the manager has effected an increase in team performance by effective Coaching. Where the Manager is coaching new starters, the measure will be how soon the new starter is billing.
