Competencies– understanding the importance competencies play in the recruitment process and what questions uncover a candidate’s motivations and standards of performance.
Identifying the values of your team and those of your organisation to ensure they align with the candidates.
Structuring the Interview – structuring a professional competency based interview, how to sell your organisation through words, tone and body language, looking in more detail at questioning & listening techniques
Course Aim
To provide delegates with the skills to be able to conduct a professional competency based interview
Course Objectives
Explain the role competencies play in the recruitment process
Ask questions that uncover a candidates motivation and standards of performance
Conduct a professional competency based interview
Sell your organisation positively through words, tone and body language
Demonstrate positive questioning and listening techniques
Duration: 3.5 hours
Cost: £1,500 for up to 10 delegates (£150 per person)
Monitoring and Evaluating – it is suggested that the HR manager (or Recruiting Manager if relevant) observes the delegate conducting an interview pre and post-training.
