Handling Difficult and Emotive Situations

Course Outline

Transactional analysis – this session looks at the different ego states that people revert to when they are emotional, and how this can affect your ability to deal with difficult situations.  OK Corral – identifies different behaviours people demonstrate in relation to others, and provides a practical framework for dealing effectively with difficult situations.  

Course Aim

To provide delegates with the skills to be able to deal with difficult and emotive situations and people in an effective and non-emotional manner  

Course Objectives

By the end of the course delegates will be able to:

  • Identify emotional behaviours of yourself and others 
  • Handle emotional situations calmly and rationally  

Duration: 3.5 hours Cost
Cost: £1,500 for up to 10 delegates (£150 per person)

Monitoring and evaluating – the delegates manager will complete a 360 degree feedback exercise on the delegate prior to the training and again 3-months post training, to ascertain if the delegate has implemented what they have learned.
