How We Recruit

Who uses The Graduate Recruitment Company's online services?

To become a fully registered Graduate Recruitment Company candidate for permanent vacancies you have to be a jobseeker who is either an EU national or already has a valid EU work permit.

This is because our clients require that the candidates we recruit for them have relevant experience in the market sector for which they are looking for a role (though some cross-over i.e. media into new media) and that they are also legally able to work in the UK.

Occasionally, we do work with clients who are looking for candidates for their world-wide offices. In these instances we will make it clear that these jobs are also open to non-EU candidates. However, for interviewing purposes it may be essential that these candidates are at least temporarily based in the UK.

To register for temporary vacancies you have to be an experienced business professional in the market you wish to work in, who is either an EU national or already has a valid EU work permit. Our temporary division will insist that you have the skills that our clients are looking for. For example, this may be a specific online database, sales experience or language.

Before we match candidates to our clients for either temporary, interim or permanent work, we insist on seeing valid work permits for non European Union passport holders and passports or another form of proof of identity. This is a requirement under the revised Employment Agencies Act.

What does it cost to use the website?

Absolutely nothing! The service that we offer both on and offline is completely free to you as a candidate. Our clients pay us to identify the talent of the future - you!
