As a media sales executive you will be working for an independent media owner based in London. They are a fantastic company to work for, with market-leading brands in both the B2B and B2C sector targeting thousands of people every month through their print publications, events and online media. The company is very ideas-driven, they look for people who want to make a significant impact from day one and who take an entrepreneurial approach to their working day and like to have their suggestions heard. They are excellent at progressing good people and are flexible in the job role you develop into for example from an online sales role there is opportunity for you to expand/move roles to other platforms.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for bringing in revenue by selling online media space across their flagship B2C brands. You will be speaking to well known brands who are relevant to the market you will be working in. As a media sales executive you will be required to manage existing key accounts as well as bring in new business so an effective telephone manner is required, although there will be opportunities to meet clients face to face as well. You will also be involved in coming up with ideas for the website and establishing more revenue opportunities. You will also be required to attend the several events and exhibitions to meet clients and take their feedback from what is working well and what they want to see more of, etc.

As a media sales executive you will have proven digital media sales experience, ideally one year but preferably more! You will be passionate about new media and want to work for a publishing house which puts its people at the heart of what they do. You will have a business-savvy mind and be motivated by the high earning potential that hitting your targets rewards you with. You will be working for a sociable and friendly company that is looking for people to fit in to this environment. This is not a boiler room sales environment but requires people to be consultative and professional and good at building long term relationships.
