As a Sales Assistant you will be working for one of the most exciting digital technology companies around. Specialising in online advertising, this business focus on mapping out the user demographic of various websites and then use that information to assist media agencies in defining how they can correctly reach their target audiences. They are hugely successful in the US and are setting up their UK office so the need has arisen for a bright, confident Sales Assistant to join the sales team in a supportive capacity to begin with. You will be working in a friendly, exciting environment where no two days are the same and you will have the opportunity to become an expert in digital and liaising regularly with senior decision-makers in top media agencies.

The Sales Assistant role is an entry-level position which will see you working with the sales team in an administrative capacity with a view to progressing into either sales or client services when you have an understanding of the business, how it works and how to sell the product. Responsibilities will include:
-Administering sales pipelines
-Reporting on revenue generation
-Managing accounts using Salesforce software
-Any other ad hoc duties
-Working regularly with Excel
-Researching the digital industry to increase your knowledge and expertise

The successful candidate will be a graduate from a top 20 university ideally with a degree in an analytical discipline (preferably Economics but other subjects will be considered). It is essential that you have strong Excel skills (knowledge of pivot tables is a MUST) because there is a lot of reporting in the role and you will need to hit the ground running. Further to that, the ideal candidate will have a confident personality who is articulate, self-motivated and has excellent organisational skills. You will be eager to get into the digital industry in a supportive role then grow into either sales or client services. You will be passionate about providing an excellent service and, above all, really keen to get your career off to a flying start in an exciting company which offers amazing progression opportunities.
