The brand this role is specifically working on the world's largest online newspaper- a brand which reaches over 90 million people every month online! You will be working as part of an intrinsic team ensuring the content, social media and SEO is up to scratch. Every person in this company is allocated a training budget and so they will look to consistently develop you, often resulting in rapid career progression for people who show they are keen to take on more responsibility.

Responsibilities
You will be working in a smaller SEO team mainly working on the content side of search engine optimisation to ensure articles are picked up by Google and other popular search engines. This role is ideal for someone with a journalistic background but who is passionate about social media as you will be amending article headlines as well as manage Facebook and Twitter feeds, etc. You may also be required to do some ad hoc reporting and analysis for the rest of the team and other divisions within the brand. You will be required to work evenings and weekends as it is critical that content is constantly delivered and the website is as up to date as possible. But as you move up and progress, this will be recognised and rewarded.

You will ideally have a journalistic background and a knowledge of SEO. If you have used Google Analytics, and written SEO friendly content before that would be an advantage. You will be hugely passionate about social media -Facebook and Twitter as this role will be largely based around these tools. You should be able to start immediately in this graduate job, although they will wait for exams, etc to finish! Critically you must be aware this is not a standard 9-5 job. You will be required to work 5 days a week- but this will be made up of weekends and evenings, at least for your first 12 months in the position. If you are ok with this, you can be developed in this amazing opportunity very rapidly.
