Course Outline
Management v Leadership – the differences between the two and the skills and behaviours needed to be a good manager/leader
Leadership styles – looks at the different styles of leadership that are available, and in which situations to use the most appropriate style
Inspiring the Team – using your style of leadership and management skills to motivate and inspire your team to achieve optimum performance.
Course Aim
To introduce managers to the concept of management and leadership, and the importance of both to your success as a manager.
Course Objectives
By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:
- Explain the differences between leadership and management
- Explain the different styles of leadership and the most appropriate situations in which to use them
- Inspire and motivate their team to achieve optimum performance
Duration: 3.5 hours
Cost: £1,500 for up to 10 delegates (£150 per person)
Monitoring and evaluating – the delegates manager will complete a 360 degree feedback exercise on the delegate prior to the training and again 3-months post training, to ascertain if the delegate has implemented what they have learned.
