UKTV rebranding continues

The broadcaster will relaunch UKTV People as Blighty and UK Documentary as Eden in 2009.
It recently rebranded UKTV Drama as Alibi following 2007's launch of Dave – the new name for UKTV G2.
A number of jobs are likely to be created as the broadcaster looks to spread the work of its 'new' channels.
And the number of jobs may be increased even further following the news that new station Watch's flagship show Richard and Judy's New Position attracted an audience of only 100,000.
The new format will see Eden broadcast shows such as Planet Earth and Superstorm, according to Brand Republic.
Blighty will be put out under the strapline of 'Bloody Brilliant Britain' and will carry shows such as Who Do You Think You Are? and Louis Theroux Meets...
Aside from the rebranding, the stations will also require media sales operatives to help ensure they turn a profit.
