Incisive Media 'to cut 50 jobs'

An article on the online pages of the Guardian indicates the firm has become the latest publisher to feel the ongoing effects of the global credit crunch.
The piece notes senior management from Incisive Media - which purchased US media group ALM in 2007 - told staff in recent days that up to 50 jobs, or roughly six per cent of the company's 800 staff, could be at risk of losing their jobs.
"The company is understood to have instigated a 'job freeze' about three months ago, to try to minimise eventual job losses, which may result in significantly fewer than 50 cuts," the article states.
In recent days, Accountancy Age's editorial team won an award at the Annual Association of Online Publishers Awards.
