Women's glossy magazine She has invited Patsy Kensit to guest-edit its September edition.
The publication contains an interview and photoshoot at the Holby City star's London home, Media Week reported.
It discusses Kensit's extensive clothes collection and also focuses on the breakdown of her fourth marriage to DJ Jeremy Healey.
Claire Irvin, the regular editor of She, told the trade journal: "Everyone in the team was surprised and delighted at Patsy's level of involvement with the magazine - she really got stuck in."
She added: "It was great having her in the offices and I think our readers will love the input she's put into the September issue."
The news comes shortly after She publisher NatMag announced strong financial results for the first half of 2010.
Figures from the company revealed that 11 titles out of its 16 have achieved record sales in this period and demonstrated solid year-on-year growth.
