Name: Alice

1. What were your first impressions of us?
My first impression was very good. As a recruiter myself I know how important it is that a candidate feels they can be themselves in the presence of their recruiter and all three of the girls I was in contact with made me feel totally at ease. I was asked to attend a short meeting at their offices in London and upon meeting the girls I knew I was in good hands! Their professionalism as well as enthusiasm for the clients they work with was really refreshing and they gave me the impression that they were really going to work hard on my behalf to help me find the right job.

2. How did we help you?
Within a few days I was called by several of the consultants I had met with very relevant roles that suited the requirements I had outlined for my next career move. They were efficient and knowledgeable about the companies that they were representing and they helped me prepare for interviews.

3. I wish I'd known when I graduated that...
I had known about the Graduate Recruitment Company so that I could have come straight to the offices!

4. The strangest interview question I've ever been asked is...
If you were a cocktail, what flavour would you be and why?

Give the Graduate Recruitment Company a call, arrange a meeting and be as honest as possible about what you want out of your first job. These guys know what they're doing and have great relationships with their clients so you will end up with a very well suited role.

Name: William

1. What were your first impressions of us?
Friendly and bubbly with a keen eye on getting the best out of candidates.

2. How did we help you?
My consultant helped me focus on all that was most important to my interviews by giving me homework on the company and the position. The team at the Graduate Recruitment Company were very efficient as I felt they wasted no amount of time finding roles that best matched my preferences. They also provided me with immediate feedback on interviews which helped me capitalise on my strengths. Finally, my consultant's wholehearted approach, enthusiasm and support made me feel I had a friend at hand as well though she remained very professional throughout.

3. I wish I'd known when I graduated that...
A little effort could go such a long way - it's just a question of knowing where to apply it. Finding the right job is not as hectic as many make it out to be if you go to the right recruitment agency. I could not have asked for more from the Graduate Recruitment Company.

4. The strangest interview question I've ever been asked is...
How many pints do you think were consumed in London last week?

5. What advice would you give to graduates still hunting for their first job?
It helps to remember that failure at interviews is rewarded with experience. I would advise those looking for work to speak to professionals working within their field of interest to get first hand opinions and gain knowledge about the job they are applying for. In my experience also, it's really important to keep the ball rolling as well by applying for positions that could lead to positive outcomes in the medium term and the short term.

Name: Neel

1. What were your first impressions of us?
My first impressions were that of a very friendly and approachable organisation. The atmosphere was laid back, but at the same time, what I wanted was paid attention to. As soon as I had my first conversation, the cogs started turning and there was movement on their side almost immediately. Unlike other recruiters, they seemed very proactive rather than reactive and it felt like my best interests were being catered for. Nice offices too!

2. How did we help you?
I was given guidance in terms of what I could expect realistically given my experience, and we discussed what sort of change I was looking for. I was already employed at the time and everyone was very flexible in working around my schedule. Having listened to exactly what I wanted, I was being informed of possible opportunities as soon as they arose and had interviews set up after just a few days. Any questions I had were answered, not only quickly, but in good detail too.
I wasn't forced into going forward for any job that I wasn't keen on, and when I chose one I really wanted, I was given full support to get it. During the (very) long interview process, everyting was handled very quickly and I was rarely left waiting for decisions. They took time out to answer emails outside of office hours, and I felt they were doing everything they could to help. Everything's been taken care of from beginning to end. I've now got an awesome new job that genuinely excites me, which I can only thank the Graduate Recruitment Company for.

3. I wish I'd known when I graduated that...
There are sales jobs, and then there are sales jobs! I wish I'd known that with a bit of patience, the right role would eventually come along.

4. The strangest interview question I've ever been asked is...
Ah! It was in a group interview with four others. The premise was that we were all in a hot air balloon that was falling, and someone had to be thrown out for the rest to survive. The question was 'You are Arnold Schwarzenegger, why should you survive?'. Believe it or not I actually won! I was also asked 'Your CV says you have a good sense of humour. Prove it'. Tecnhically not a question, but it still shows you should always be on your toes and have your wits about you. They'll always try to catch you off guard. These are the times that you can show them how amazing your personality is.

5. What advice would you give to graduates still hunting for their first job?
I woudl say that the most important thing to do is treat a job search as a full time job itself. If you invest your time and effort into it, you'll reap the rewards. Aside from that, don't rush into a job that you're unsure of. When it is the right job for you, as cliched as it may sound, you will know. If it's something you're passionate about, you'll have no problems impressing anyone!

Name: Anja

1. What were your first impressions of us?
My first calls with my consultant and my first visit gave me the impression that they work very professionally. I was already in touch with other agencies and some of them left me with a bad opinion of recruitment agencies in general - but I was about to be proven wrong.

2. How did we help you?
By inviting me in for an assessment centre where people with a second language were required. My consultant was convinced that it was the right role for me where my languages were key, and she was right. She helped me through all of the stages - from the initial invitation, over support for my preparations and making sure my first day went well and that everything was alright.

3. I wish I'd known when I graduated that...
It's not that easy to find the right role and that being open to new opportunities and roles that you haven't considered before is very important.

4. What advice would you give graduates still hunting for their first job?
By quoting Steve Jobs 'Stay hungry - stay foolish.' You can only connect the dots backwards; not forwards. So guys, never give up. There's the right role for all of you, it only might take some time to find it.

Name: James

1. What were your first impressions of us?
I was made very welcome and felt very relaxed when I arrived at the office. We saw three people during the two or so hours we were there and they were all happy people who obviously enjoy their work and that reflects on you.

2. How did we help you?
You managed to get me an interview the day after I came and saw you. You then followed that up with another two interviews after that weekend had passed. Including second interviews I had interviews on Friday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I was then offered the job on the final interview and couldn't be happier right now! Everyone from start to finish had guided me and Jenny even gave us sales training to refresh my mind on things.

3. I wish I'd known when I graduated that...
Actually I'm not a graduate but this just shows that the Graduate Recruitment Company can help you even if you don't have a degree. I'm proof of the pudding! If I were a grad then I would probably say why were we not introduced to a company like the Graduate Recruitment Company when we were at university!

4. The strangest interview question I've ever been asked is...
Are you street smart or academic smart? Not an expected question but just be truthful about it. I'm not academic and that's why I never went to university but I've used my own skills and experience to be able to get this job.

5. What advice would you give to graduates still hunting for their first job?
Stick at it! The first interview I went to through the Graduate Recruitment Company, I really wanted it. I got through to a third stage interview and was then told that this maybe wasn't for me. I was pretty devastated as I wanted that job so much but then it turned out that an even better job came along and I got it! Don't give up. Also I would recommend that if you do have any questions or want guidance or advice on anything you are unsure about (work related!) I would call the Graduate Recruitment Company. They are so friendly and welcoming, I couldn't be happier with the service I received.

Highly recommended!

3. I wish I'd known when I graduated that...
it is more about your personal qualities, communication skills and ability to present yourself well rather than getting high grades on the essays (although high grades are also important).

4. What advice would you give to graduates still hunting for their first job?
See which experience you have and which jobs you'd be capable of doing - as employers first of all check how well you match their job requirements. Also be yourself, be positive and smile!

Name: Emma

1. What were your first impressions of us?
I came across the Graduate Recruitment Company doing a random search on Reed, and so grateful that I signed up with them. From submitting my CV online, I was contacted about 30 minutes later and went to meet the team the very next day. The team was absolutely lovely. They made me feel so at ease and didn't judge me that the concept of digital media was new to me.

2. How did we help you?
Ultimately you helped me get a new job and a new career in the matter of four days! Amazing! I signed up to the agency on Monday, registered and met the team on Tuesday, had an interview on Thursday and by 3pm on Thursday I was employed. Such a quick turnaround. From the moment I met the team I knew they were going to help me.

3. I wish I'd known when I graduated that...
Just because you did a certain degree, that you aren't restricted to certain jobs. I graduated in maths and tried to pursue a career in banking but it wasn't for me. Thankfully I stumbled across the Graduate Recruitment Company and they made me open my eyes to a completely different career path I thought I'd never be able to do.

4. What advice would you give to graduates still hunting for their first job?
Stay positive, be 100% yourself and think outside the box. Don't let your degree choice hold you back, remember the skills you've learnt and the aspects of your degree you enjoyed the most and find a job/career that utilises them.

The Graduate Recruitment Company provided me with some basica sales training that I found essential for all my following interviews that were set up for me. I was given experience in group interviews and excellent one on one mentoring with several consultants. In terms of searching for jobs, the Graduate Recruitment Company provided me with a fantastic selection of interviews that were perfectly suited to my interests and experience level. If your friends could describe your three worst qualities what would they be and what is the most embarrassing thing they would say you have ever done?

5. What advice would you give to graduates still hunting for their first job?
Definitely go and pay the Graduate Recruitment Company a visit. They provide you with a great service from your initial contact with them and they look after you throughout your process as well as making sure you are comfortable in your new job. I was contacted by over eight different recruitment agencies, but once I made contact with the Graduate Recruitment Company I didn't need to look anywhere else.

Name: Oliver

1. What were your first impressions of us?
My consultant was very friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. I felt instantly relaxed and like I was in the right place.

2. How did we help you?
Offered helpful sales training and advice. Discussed positions that I would be interested in as opposed to trying to force roles upon candidates. They were continually in contact with me to discuss new roles. They offered help and advice over the phone with regards to conducting a successful interview.

3. I wish I'd known when I graduated that...
Although there are a vast numbers of recruitment agencies in the market, most do not care about their candidates or clients and are just desperate to match anyone to anything regardless of their specific needs, and thus are a waste of time dealing with. I wish I was aware of who the quality recruitment agencies were to start with.

4. The stranges interview question I've ever been asked is...
If we had to let you go after your probationary period, what would be the reason? Worst case scenario and I want an actual reason.

5. What advice would you give to graduates still hunting for their first job?
Do not give up and get yourself down if you keep getting rejected as finding a job isn't supposed to be easy and with interview after interview comes practice and experience gained and lessons learnt.

Name: Sarah

1. What were your first impressions of us?
Excellent - the Graduate Recruitment Company worked around me and my consultant was able to meet me before work at a convenient location for me as I was employed at the time. This flexibility really helped me out. Meeting my consultant was extremely useful and it was great to talk through what I wanted quite informally.

2. How did we help you?
Within a few hours of meeting my consultant a job role suiting my skills and requirements was sent over to me.. I was then invited for an interview a few days later, whilst being supported by the Graduate Recruitment Company every step of the way. I was fully briefed before each interview (there were two stages) and I was in constant contact with the consultants. I really felt they understood me and my needs, making it easy to contact them as I was at work during my job hunt. Working with the Graduate Recruitment Company made me feel a lot more positive having that support network there, and I would definitely recommend them.

At the start of the interview - describe yourself in three words. At the end of the interview - can you remember the three words you used at the beginning? Hard to remember after being grilled for an hour!

5. What advice would you give to graduates still hunting for their first job?
Make sure your CV displays your achievements, not just your skills. Always tailor your CV for each job - it might sound time consuming but will pay off in the long run. Especially if you are applying for your perfect job.

Name: Dan

They found me interviews extremely quickly and kept in good contact every step of the way through the process, whilst keeping me up to date with other roles that were available.

3. I wish I'd known when I graduated that...
That as far as getting a job goes, having a degree in X, Y or Z will only get your feet in the door. There is still a lot of work to be done to get that first role!

4. The strangest interview question I've ever been asked is..
When did you last feel ashamed?

5. What advice would you give to graduates still hunting for their first job?
Finding the right role is more important than finding any role. It doesn't matter how long it takes to find the right job. In 5 years you won't remember if it took you 5 days or 5 months to find your first job, but if it's the right role, you'll always be glad you waited.

Very professional, friendly and supportive. And they didn't bombard me with paperwork!

2. How did we help you?
One of the finest aspects of the staff at the Graduate Recruitment Company is that they didn't try to force jobs that I wouldn't like on to me. They also helped me with interview techniques and had great advice for any questions that I had.

Name: Biba

1. What were your first impressions of us?
Very approachable. During the initial recruitment interview, my consultant made a great connetion between my personality, passion and interest with a currently available role. I am delighted to have now secured this role and incredibly excited about this new digital media realm which I didn't initially have in mind.

2. How did we help you?
Throughout the entire process. From the initial informal interview in giving job/industry ideas which helped me realise what I actually wanted to do, to research tips and advice on how best to succeed in the interview. Follow up and feedback was quicker than I could have hoped for, which alleviated any apprehension and was always thorough. There was constant support throughout the process as my consultant made sure she was available to contact with any questions prior to interviews. It was a pleasure dealing with my consultant and the Graduate Recruitment Company; they have great prospects and even better staff who are eager to help you every step of the way.

3. I wish I'd known when I graduated that...
There are so many opportunities out there. There is nothing pushing you towards the same roles your course friends are choosing. Recruitment agencies offer a different route to graduate programmes, especially if you have 1-2 years of experience and don't want to go down that route. They come up with new and interesting roles every day, which you otherwise may not know about.

4. The strangest interview question I've ever been asked is...
From abstract questions like 'How many 6' by 4' flags do you think hang at any one time in the USA? To unexpected questions like 'What's your favourite product? Would you consider working for them?'

5. What advice would you give to graduates still hunting for their first job?
Expect some knocks but don't let that get you down. Try and keep the momentum going, the more driven and open you are, the more opportunities will crop up. Some of which you may not have even considered that could be a better personality/interest fit.

First job-wise, it's about the experience. All experience is good, even if you realise that actually you're going to have to completely rethink your career. Knowing that you don't want to do something is just as important.

The best thing I ever did was reinforce my belief in myself in times of rejection. A negative self image is apparent in an interview situation so resilience is key when facing your next interview post rejection.

Name: Maciej

1. What were your first impressions of us?
From the first moment the consultant seemed to be very helpful and understandable. She listened to me and then advised what could be the right job for me. Everything was very professional, but it also felt like you were talking to a friend.

2. How did we help you?
My consultant was always very helpful and remembered about me. It took me a while to find a job I would like, however for all of that time she was calling me suggesting various job types that were suitable for my skill set. All the conversations we had also helped direct me in the right direction of a job I would enjoy doing. And in the end, of course, I found a job thanks to the company.

It might take a while to find a job that you really enjoy.

What would you do if you owned a large field area on the moon>

5. What advice would you give to graduates still hunting for their first job?

Name: Mark

1. What were your first impressions of us?
Upon applying for a position, I quickly received communication back from an extremely helpful member of the Graduate Recruitment Company team who was more than happy to help me in any way possible. First impressions were certainly very positive with me feeling that I had finally found a recruitment company who took a personal interest in matching a position to my skill set, and who wanted to help me every step of the way. Unlike my experiences with other recruitment companies, I didn't feel like I was being put forward for positions just for the sake of increasing my odds of securing a position. The highly professional and very approachable consultant took her time in assisting me in every way she could.

2. How did we help you?
Where other recruitment companies have failed, the Graduate Recruitment Company succeeded in matching the perfect role to my skills and experience. Interviews were arranged around my travel schedule which I'm sure was a bit of a nuisance and a headache for the consultant given the fact that I had to travel back to Northern Ireland. The advice offered for the interviews and the personal touch of providing directions and help proved to be invaluable given the fact that I don't really know my way around London. I'm really glad to say that my search for the perfect role has now ended thanks to the Graduate Recruitment Company. I will be recommending any graduates I know to consider them for their job searches - I just wish I knew about you sooner.

3. I wish I'd known when I graduated that...
I really wish I knew that working with a recruitment comapny such as this to find a position was the best option! I spent countless hours applying for roles directly and made little to no progress. The resources offered by Graduate Recruitment Company and the expertise of its excellent consultants resulted in me gaining a new role within a couple of weeks of contacting them. If only I had known about them much sooner!

4. The strangest interview question I've ever been asked is...
I was once asked in an interview about what breed of dog I had. I'm really not sure what the interviewer was trying to establish with that question...

The quality of your CV is extremely important. I've had to make countless alterations to mine to gain any form of response from companies. I would also suggest utilising a recruitment company such as the Graduate Recruitment Company to make the job application process much easier. Their expertise, professionalism and large number of contacts with companies helps to make the job hunting process much easier. I would also suggest that you don't give up hope! It can be extremely difficult to secure your first job but as long as you keep trying and remain optimistic, it will happen.

2. How did we help you?
The Graduate Recruitment Company helped by preparing me for what to expect in the interview process, by informing me of what specific employers were looking for in prospective candidates, and by giving me advice on how to stand out in the group interview stages.

3. I wish I'd known when I graduated that...
I wish I'd known how much more difficult my job search would be having not applied to any graduate schemes.

4. The strangest interview question I've ever been asked is...
What is your current Facebook status?

5. What advice would you give to graduates still hunting for their first job?
Be confident, I would say that's the most important thing to remember. You can have all the qualifications in the world from a top university but if you appear too nervous and shy it will be incredibly difficult to succeed in interviews. Employers are looking for people that are confident, friendly and good at communicating with others and presenting their ideas. This took me a while to master but once I developed confidence in myself I was successful in my job search almost immediately.

Showing your personality and general enthusiasm is as important as knowing things about the company you're applying for.

If I was at a high profile dinner party and a fight broke out between Tony Blair and Prince, what would I do?

Try to be open minded - there are many amazing opportunities out there that you may never have considered until you give them a chance.

1. What were your first impressions of us?
Very approachable, very helpful and very realistic.

2. How did we help you?
I had a group interview with the Graduate Recruitment Company on a Thursday, the following Monday I met a consultant for a job interview preparation session, I had the interview on the Tuesday and signed on the dotted line the same day. In a group interview situation 'Of your competitors, who do you see as the greatest threat and why?'

5. What advice would you give to graduates still hunting for their first job?
If you send someone an email, call them to follow up. As Lady Gaga says in Paparazzi, 'I'm your biggest fan I'll follow you until you love me' - you need to be every recruiter's biggest fan. Don't be afraid of cold calling recruiters, set your sights on suitable roles and make a lasting impression.

No matter how many times a day I called her (and it was a lot!) she always seemed genuinely pleased to talk with me and help me. She listened to my ambitions and goals carefully and put me forward for roles accordingly. I cannot speak highly enough of the whole team at the Graduate Recruitment Company. They go above and beyond the level of help I received at any other company. If it were not for them I wouldn't be about to embark on my dream job. She has helped me get the flying start to my career that I would never have been able to attain on my own.

3. I wish I'd known when I graduated that...
Academic results get you so far, who you are as a person gets you success.

4. The strangest interview question I've ever been asked is...

5. What advice would you give to graduates still hunting for their first job?
Remember that it is a two way fit - do not just accept the first job you are offered, give yourself plenty of options and make sure that the choice is right for you. Find a recruiter you trust and work only with them. I found being signed to different agencies can lead to conflicting advice.

This constant interaction with the Graduate Recruitment Company helped put me at ease and gave me the confidence to get the role I did.

Established a variety of interviews for positions that I wouldn't have otherwise come across. They provided alternative opportunities to those that are easily available. The Graduate Recruitment Company's biggest strength is being able to get people immediately into interviews which currently is the biggest struggle with so many applications for each position.

3. What would you say to friends looking for a similar job?

You submitted my CV for consideration for a number of vacancies and quickly I had 2 interviews and a job offer. Name: Kelly

1. What were your first impressions of us?
Extremely friendly from the start. The fact that you arranged for a one to one meeting really helped as you put a face to a name and trust the person on the end of the phone more. I personally wasn't intending to find work through a recruitment agency - however, the process was very easy as I was only told of a job which fitted my expectations rather than being bombarded with ones that didn't link to my CV at all.

2. How did we help you?
By informing me of what was available in the market as I was only interested in graduate schemes to begin with which had all closed - however this job offered the training I wanted too.

3. I wish I'd known when I graduated that...
I should be applying a year in advance

4. What advice would you give to graduates still hunting for their first job?
Don't assume because all the schemes are closed that you'll be out of a job until they reopen next year, you may find something as worthy along the way that still offers you the training and further qualifications you require.

I came in for a meeting with a consultant to talk in more detail about my background, skills, and the kind of jobs that would suit me.30 minutes later I had 2 interviews lined up for later that week and I was even provided with some on the spot training! They then sent me really detailed and helpful infomration to help me prepare. I also spoke to a consultant the day before the interview to make sure I was feeling confident and to answer any questions I might have had. By the time of the interview I felt really prepared and knew what to expect, and the next day I had a great job offer on the table. The whole process was so quick and simple and I actually really enjoyed it.

Name: Lisa

1. What were your first impressions of us?
My first impressions were of a friendly and efficient company that took the time to listen to each and every client. When I walked in, I was instantly offered a cup of tea and a big smile - promising start!

2. How did we help you?
When I first came to The Graduate Recruitment Company I'd spent six months in a miserable job and didn't know what to do next. The Graduate Recruitment Company gave me practical and honest advice, guidance on possible career paths and most of all injected some positivity into my job search!

They took the time to ensure that they understood my needs, and consulted me about any roles that might fit my criteria, while steering clear of any that they knew I was dead set against. They thoroughly prepared me for my interviews, and I'm happy to say that after only my second interview through the Graduate Recruitment Company I have just been offered a position that I'm thoroughly excited about starting!

3. What would you say to friends looking for a similar job?
Being a recent graduate, I found the Graduate Recruitment Company particularly useful in putting me forward for roles that would suit a graduate without much employment experience, but that wasn't necessarily a 'grad scheme'. The fact that your initial registration appointment is over an hour long, often meeting with more than one consultant on the team, means that they really take the time to get to know what you're looking for. They didn't waste my time with options I ruled out at the start, but were on the ball when the right positions came in. If you're looking to start a new career, even if you don't know where to start, I would definitely recommend booking an appointment with the Graduate Recruitment Company.

4. What else would you like to say?
They brought a refreshing and uplifting edge to what was initially a demoralising job search for a graduate with limited employment experience. Thank you for working so hard to get me the job I never thought I could get!

Name: Catherine

1. What were your first impressions of us?
Very efficient, friendly and responsive to candidate requirements.

2. How did we help you?
Aside from directing me towards the position to begin with, I was given a really thorough briefing around the role and then interview process, and help to prepare for the group assessment day. Throughout each stage of the process my consultant was really supportive and chatted to me about how I thought it was going and gave me feedback from the interviewer. At each stage I got really great advice on how to deal with the next stage which was really appreciated. On receiving an offer for the job I was fully supported through the acceptance process. My consultant even contacted me after starting the position just to make sure everything was going ok and that I was happy.

3. What would you say to friends looking for a similar job?
Definitely sign up with the Graduate Recruitment Company. The range of roles they have are far superior to an other graduate company I've seen, and they really invest time in getting to know the companies they work with well. This means as a candidate you feel a lot less like a commodity that is being sold to fill a vacancy: instead the Graduate Recruitment Company know the role and know the company and see that it is potentially the right fit for you.

4. What else would you like to say?
My experience with the Graduate Recruitment Company, although brief (which is great!) was by far the most positive of any recruitment company I've dealt with to date. At no point did I feel like jobs I wasn't interested in were being forced upon me. Being asked what I wanted and what I was looking to achieve is often asked, but uniquely in this case actually taken on board. For me their greatest strength lies in considered and understanding relationships with both customers and candidates alike which was a really refreshing experience.

Name: Rebecca

1. What were your first impressions of us?
Entering employment and looking for your first real job after uni can be a really daunting experience - just where do you start?! Finding the right recruitment company is crucial in getting the best jobs, and getting matched with a job that is best suited for you.
I was already with several agencies but I wasn't getting the job roles sent through that I was interested in. However after my first phone call with the Graduate Recruitment Company I had three interviews in the diary for roles I was excited about and all in a matter of days.
On my first visit to the offices, immediately I got a great feeling about being there. The offices were incredibly modern and 'jazzy' and I felt like the agency really understood what was important to me in a job and absolutely did their best to find a role for me.

2. How did we help you?
I thought the additional information that was sent over about the field of work I wanted to get into was great, it was fantastic in helping me get prepared for role plays and interviews.
More so than other jobs, you really explained the role on the phone and what it would entail in great detail, sometimes more than what was on the job spec, which helped me to understand the roles better and again prepare more effectively.
I was sent over a job spec for a company by a different recruitment company and the way it was explained, I wasn't interested in it. However, the same role was pitched to me by the Graduate Recruitment Company and the fact that they had so much experience in recruiting people to that company, all with such positive things to say about it, I was instantly keen. I ended up getting the job and I'm very excited to start!
Above all I think the folks that work at the Graduate Recruitment Company are fantastic. They put me at ease, I had a rapport with them like no other agency and I've found a job that ticked all my boxes and more. At one stage I had three different people within the company calling with prospective job roles which is something I haven't found with other agencies either.

3. What would you say to friends looking for a similar job?
I would say to anyone who is about to begin looking for a job that there are hundreds of agencies out there that all say that they can help you find a job, but I would just skip all that rubbish and go straight to the Graduate Recruitment Company. I met with them last Tuesday, it's now Thursday and I've got my job offer on the table!

4. What else would you like to say?
I was nervous about entering the workplace and finding a job that is right for me, a comfortable fit. There were often times when I thought I was maybe being too picky but the Graduate Recruitment Company assured me I wasn't and I would be able to find a great role. Instead of being nervous, now I'm excited to begin my new career and I'm very appreciative of all the hard work that the girls gave me!

Name: Stacey

1. What were your first impressions of us?
I found the entire team to be extremely efficient and professional, whilst always maintaining a warm and personable manner.

2. How did we help you?
From my initial phone contact within an hour of me emailing my CV, I found their abilities to assess my capabilities impressive. They immediately called me in for a group assessment day the following afternoon, and dedicated hours to analysing my knowledge and relevant experience. What set them apart from the other agency I had been with is that they also empowered me with additional information and training that would help me in future interviews. Rather than relying on handouts and general information they actively took me through role plays that emulated those actually required in sales interviews.

My consultant put me forward for an interview the next day with Living Social which I actually got. I must say I had never felt so prepared for any other interview I have been through. This was down to the tem's dedication to understanding what I was capable of and what company I would fit into. The fact that they dedicate real time and effort into this is vitally important to anyone seeking out the right job, as I have been on many ocassions thrown into interviews with little preparation, support or guidance. This is the complete opposite of the Graduate Recruitment Company.

Thanks to the entire team I have found an amazing job in an environment that fulfils me, supports me, and most importantly, a job that is right for me.

3. What would you say to friends looking for a similar job?
I would say that if you like me have no active experience in Media Sales, don't let that stop you from pursuing it. The Graduate Recruitment Company has a talent for equipping people with the skills, knowledge and confidence in their chosen field in a matter of hours. The others in my group and I had learnt more in that single assessment than I had from weeks with another agency. They will never put you forward for anything you aren't prepared for, and in turn they will offer you constant support as if they were your teacher and best friend. I have every confidence that they could get anyone a job. Not just any job, your job.

I cannot thank the entire team enough for what they've done for me. Their professionalism, expertise and warmth was outstanding, and I would recommend them until I turn blue.

This agency existed, who could help me in my job hunt, getting me a job that I feel is well suited to me so quickly and effectively.

4. The strangest interview question I've ever been asked is...
This was during a role play scenario whereby I was asked to pick a name out of a hat and I was given five minutes to think of reasons as to why this celebrity should survive and not be pushed out of a hot air balloon which was slowly losing altitude over the Grand Canyon which had only enough gas to ensure the safe return of two of the 14 celebrities, and I had 30 seconds to relay these reasons.

Gain the professional support of a graduate recruitment agency that gives your CV a prestige and a boost which gives you an edge when applying to companies. They can also help through accessing companies and interviews faster than you would be able to yourself and can advise you about interview techniques.

1. What were your first impressions of us?
I had a good impression. I received a phone call shortly after applying for a role online and a group   interview afternoon was arranged for a few days later to see if I was a suitable candidate to be placed on your books. I liked the speed of the process. I didn't have to wait a day or two to see if I was chosen - that was decided on the day. I thought it wasn't too intimidating, like some assessment days can be. It was good to meet the other graduates and I think it's a good way to meet your recruitment agency face to face so that they get a better feel for your personality. The Graduate Recruitment Company stuck to their word and put me forward for an interview quickly, so you have reliable consultants.

3. What would you say to friends looking for a similar job?
I would recommend them applying to The Graduate Recruitment Company as I found it easier and obviously much more successful having an agency help rather than sitting in front of a computer myself sending my CV to companies, not even knowing if they would be looked at.

Thank you for contributing towards me getting a job so quickly.

Name: Samuel

1. What were your first impressions of us?

An extremely well presented and well organised recruitment agency.

2. How did we help you?
The Graduate Recruitment Company gave me basic sales training and a lot of media recruitment

I found the recruitment consultants extremely helpful and always available, the interview advice given was always spot on. Also, the recruiters pushed me towards the digital market place which i had a general interest in. A lot of recruiters do not give you the option of what media field you interview for.

Within three weeks i gained a job in search engine optimisation!

2. How did we help you?
The Graduate Recruitment Company  helped me enormously.  The team took a consultative approach to finding me work, which allowed us to really get to the bottom of what I was looking for.  Within hours of our first meeting, I was receiving calls about some really exciting positions to interview for.  As a graduate for whom a media sales role was a relatively new proposition, I was very encouraged by how helpful the team were in answering the questions I had and providing clarity where there were grey areas for me.  They took great care to help me prepare to the fullest before the interviews I attended by taking me through each role in detail, as well as giving invaluable interview advice that any job seeker should hear.

1. What were your first impressions of us?
My first impressions were the standard friendly and open attitude, just like any recruiter I met. But then I was impressed by how genuinely interested they were in who I was and how they could help. Even after my first meeting I went away with good advice, not just the generic kind that everyone gives, but advice directly appropriate to me.

2. How did we help you?
First of all, after the first interview, there was the sharpening up of my overall image. This was followed by interview after interviews that were set up by my consultants (yes, plural!). But there was more. They were always at hand to offer advice and even called me up just before the interviews to wish me good luck as well as go over any questions. All this help, advice and feedback resulted in me securing a good job with a very good company. So the short answer to the question is in every possible way.

From the moment I spoke with the Graduate Recruitment Company on the phone I felt that I had finally found a recruitment agent that was right for me. Each member of the team there made me feel so welcome and really listened to what type of job I was looking for, unlike most recruitment agents out there. The Graduate Recruitment Company would be able to help me find work so quickly and effectively. I will now recommend them to all my graduate friends and colleagues.

4. The strangest interview question I've ever been asked is...
'What is your greatest achievement outside of work and academia?' Definitely seek an opportunity through The Graduate Recruitment Company! This recruitment company provides invaluable help and boosts your morale which is vital if you find yourself struggling to secure your desired job. Name: Sam

1. What were your first impressions of us?
Fast! Extremely efficient; I was almost exhausted at how quickly everything moved. Especially in the context of the endless trawling of job sites and writing of cover letters and rarely hearing back from applications. My consultant was so incredibly friendly, and I straight away felt she was genuinely interested in me, and not just in putting me on an employer conveyor belt.

2. How did we help you?
One of the problems I was having was knowing the vague things I wanted in a job, but not really actually knowing what job title and companies that meant looking to; The Graduate Recruitment Company allowed me to cash in on their expertise in knowing just what sort of things I might love and be good at; whilst also being flexible and always asking me what I thought, so I never felt like I was being herded like the proverbial sheep into somewhere I didn't want to be! I had a pretty whirlwind and slightly overwhelming interview process, and my consultant was such a great support to me and gave me some great advice. She has always made me feel like she genuinely wants the best for me; and I feel like I can really be honest with her about what I'm thinking and know she'll give me advice that's in my best interests. She is amazing!

3. I wish I'd known when I graduated that...
Not getting a job straight away doesn't mean you're inherently unemployable! And finding it emotionally draining is entirely normal.

4. The strangest interview question I've ever been asked is...
Describe to me your perfect cup of coffee or hot drink, and where you'd drink it?

5. What advice would you give to graduates still hunting for their first job?
Don't underestimate what a difficult market this is to get a job. This means if you don't get jobs you apply for, or even hear back from them at all, there's no cause for panic or immediately conclude you are just not what any employer wants. A lot of my friends got great degrees from great universities, and were brilliant all rounders, but it still took them ages to get jobs, so do NOT give up. Don't pretend not getting a job you wanted (or even didn't want!) isn't disheartening - but just take some time to step back, learn what you can from it, and then power on. I would also genuinely recommend using a recruitment agency - it can really speed things up and cut out a lot of trawling through advertisements for probably unsuitable jobs.

My consultant was so helpful, I couldn't have asked for more. I was invited for a formal interview which was great, as it really helped me to focus on job opportunities that were right for me.
After that I was given a stack of job opportunities that were in my area of expertise - this was really beneficial and much better than applying for jobs myself. Having my consultant help me made me feel much more confident, especially when I started to get some interviews lined up.
After the interview, I was given feedback that really inspired and encouraged me and made me think positively about the whole situation. After securing the job I had even further support from my consultant. I was given the help and support I needed when movingstraight from university life into the working world.

Name: Laura

1. What were your first impressions of us?
You had a wider range of graduate jobs than I'd previously seen, and again in the areas I wanted to work in, eg marketing, media etc which are often thin on the ground! Again you seemed keen to get people to interviews, which is great.

2. How did we help you?
You helped me find a graduate role! I'd been temping for the last year but hadn't been able to find the right kind of permanant role I wanted. You found me a range of interview in the fields I was keen on and all together were very supportive throughout. Now I have a permanant job and I'm really happy!

3. I wish I'd known when I graduated that...
I wish I'd just known a bit more about different sorts of companies and workplaces. In my head everyone went to a very similar sort of office - definitely not true.

4. The strangest interview question I've ever been asked is...
I got a question asking me to refer back to a time when I didn't get along with someone at work and we'd argued in the workplace, how I'd dealt with it etc - found it slightly strange as I would generally pride myself on not having arguments with my colleagues, and genuinely couldn't think of anything like that.

5. What advice would you give to graduates still hunting for their first job?
Persevere! And maybe get temporary work in the meantime, it'll give you a chance to work in a variety of different workplaces and you'll get valuable office experience. Also it means that you're not quite so painfully poor. But on the whole I'd just say try and stay happy whilst waiting it out - it's boring and frustrating but you'll get a job eventually. Also take advantage of the time to better yourself outside of work - make a LinkedIn profile, Twitter account, blog etc.

From the very start the Graduate Recruitment Company were very bubbly, friendly and relaxed in their approach - ultimately which helped to calm the nerves for me to be able to perform well within the initial group inteview. They were always open to any questions I had, and always gave honest answers. It seemed that they were genuinely interested in placing me in a role that I would enjoy, rather than just another job.

2. How did we help you?
By trying to get to know me more as a person, and my likes and ambitions, this ultimately helped them to find vacancies for me which would actually suit me, as opposed to seeing me as just another candidate to fill any vacany available. I guess it varies how long it takes them to place you in a new vacancy but I ws pretty happy with 2 days from the time I met them to being offered a job. Full recommendations would go to the the team, and would advise any graduate looking for a new role to go straight to the Graduate Recruitment Company.

Name: Jack

1. What were your first impressions of us?
Very good. I've been to see a number of recruitment companies and the Graduate Recruitment Company struck me as being the most professional. I was particularly impressed with the mock interview screening process. It enabled us to receive good feedback on how well we performed at an interview and provided us with good advice for how to sell effectively.

2. How did we help you?
The sales training was very good. The PMCC format is a very effective process to work by. In the mock interview we had the opportunity not only to have a go at selling a product and receive feedback, but also to see other people attempt it and we were invited to suggest the areas in which we thought we did well and not so well. This was very helpful as we got to see what an interviewer sees, and think about how we come across in interviews.

3. I wish I'd known when I graduated that...
It's very tough to get a good job. When I was sat around a table at group interviews I was struck by how many out of work graduates, all with good qualifications, there were. I found that it became quite boring to hear about the same things (degrees, A Levels, captaincies, etc) an that it was important to mention something memorable about yourself to stick in the interviewers minds.

4. The strangest interview question I've ever been asked is...
I've never really been asked any particularly strange questions, but I did get asked a very difficult question - 'So what do you think about our policy of capping commission?' This wouldn't have been so difficult to answer if I hadn't just spent 5 minutes explaining why I didn't agree with capping commission. From then on the structuring of commission was something I always asked my recruiter about prior to an interview.

5. What advice would you give to graduates still hunting for their first job?
Don't expect a job straight away. Every time you come out of an interview think about what you did right and what you could have done better, and add any feedback from your recruiter to that list. It also makes you feel like you're getting somewhere if you manage to learn something from every interview you go to, rather than just being rejected and not knowing why.

The most important thing to have prepared, in my opinion, is 5 key points prepared on 3 questions - why do you want to work in this field, why do you want to work for us, why should we hire you. They're extremely tough questions to answer on the spot and answering it poorly will knock your confidence massively. A lot of group interviews also ask to hear one interesting fact about you.

Each of the numerous consultants that I met with was sharp, focussed and keen to talk to me as a human being. I immediately felt I had gone to just the right place for my career.

2. How did we help you?
While I was abroad for 12 days, interviews were being set up left, right and centre. The consultants emailed me about each position, negotiating confirmations within an extremely tight timetable. Upon my return I was given a good quantity of key guidance, both by telephone and face to face, and was sent to a very high number of great companies. Before and after each interview, the consultants would assist with advice and feedback, patiently fielding my own assessments of the meetings and communicating with potential employers. Within a week I had confirmed a far better position than I had previously anticipated.

A recent survey found that in the current climate, for each position there are on average 80 graduates applying for it. Considering all this, the greatest piece of advice I was given and would give is that perserverance pays off, in all honesty it really does.
