Course Outline

This course focuses on what succession planning is and how to do it.  Delegates will be shown how to conduct a SWOT analysis of their team, how to view their team objectively and to identify the best structure for the team from a business perspective, and how to plan for their progression.

Course Aim

To provide delegates with the skills and knowledge to be able to plan the progression of the team in order to best achieve the company objectives.

Course Objectives

By the end of the course delegates will be able to:

  • Conduct a SWOT analysis of their team
  • Identify the critical positions within the team and plan the progression of the team to ensure these critical positions are filled
  • Provide opportunities for progression to those members of the team who have been identified as “star performers” 

    Duration: 3.5 hours
    Cost: £1,500 for up to 10 delegates (£150 per person)

    Monitoring and Evaluating: 360-degree questionnaire to be completed by delegates manager before training and then 8 months post-training, to identify the delegates skill at succession planning.
