Course Outline
Assertive management behaviour: looks at the different communication styles adopted by managers. submissive, assertive and aggressive behaviours and how to demonstrate more assertive behaviour.
Improving performance: this session shows a manager how to improve performance of others through the use of assertive language and behaviour

Course Aim
To provide delegates with an understanding of the different ways in which people communicate, and the skills necessary to behave more assertively.
Course Objectives
By the end of the course, delegates will be able to: Explain the different communication styles and the strengths and weaknesses of each Demonstrate what assertive behaviour looks like Conduct a meeting using assertive behaviour Use assertive behaviour to monitor and improve performance
Duration: 3.5 hours
Cost: £1,500 for up to 10 delegates (£150 per person)
Monitoring and evaluating – the delegates manager will complete a 360 degree feedback exercise on the delegate prior to the training and again 3-months post training, to ascertain if the delegate has implemented what they have learned.
