Your Profile

An excellent opportunity for a Graduate Trainee Research Analyst - Financial Markets for a leading boutique financial consultancy is available, with immediate interviews this week. If you have an excellent academic background, with a minimum of a 2.1 ideally within a Financial focused degree (others will be considered) and a minimum of 3 Bs at A level please read on. The role of Graduate Trainee Research Analyst - Financial Markets for this leading boutique financial consultancy offers excellent client facing opportunities, to a determined, bright and motivated individual. If you have excellent communication skills and an interest in the financial markets this could be the role for you. The ideal candidate for the role of Graduate Trainee Research Analyst - Financial Markets will have strong organisation skills, high attention to detail and an analytical mind set and will be looking to work in a driven and intelligent work place. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 6 months research experience within the Financial Markets (although this is not essential). If you are applying for the role of Graduate Trainee Research Analyst - Financial Markets you will be able to use EXCEL to a high level including using Pivot tables and formula. Knowledge of VBA will be ideal, but not essential.

The Role

A varied and constantly changing position, your role as Graduate Trainee Research Analyst - Financial Markets will keep you on your toes from the off. You will be responsible for generating reports and presentations on behalf of clients (International Financial Institutions). You will compile your own data, via building networks in the Financial Markets and completing telephone interviews with key players in the industry. You will use this information to compile reports and power point presentations which will be presented to your clients.

This is a research / analytical position.
